Soffies Comet, a.k.a. Chilli, was born June 25 2003. His father is
DKCH KLBCH Finch’s Walkin’
Awesome. His mother is DK CH Soffies Queen of the Night.
Chilli is a black male from Soffies Kennel www.kennelsoffie.dk and is a Danish import. He is from a litter of four, all of which have made great success in the Show ring. Chilli's breeder was so pleased with his litter, she decided to repeat the combination. The result was three beautiful girls. Chilli
is a happy-go-lucky, beautiful, playful and gentle guy, but don't be fooled:
He won't be bullied. He is no dominating boy, but will stand his ground if
other dogs pick on him. Most of all he loves his
cuddles. Even in the ring, a cuddle makes for a better reward than a treat.
Loves:
Girls in heat, cuddles, play football, cuddles, playtime, cuddles, walkies,
cuddles, guests, cuddles... well, you get the idea.
Hates:
Slippery floors, big, curious dogs intruding on his space - makes him turn
into Pit-Pom!

D-day: May 31 2004 Three friends and their American Cocker Spaniel came to visit. Some time in the afternoon, one of my friends pushed his Cocker off the couch. Then he pushed my little Chilly (weighing in at about 1,6 kg/3 lbs at the time) off the couch, using the same force as when pushing his Cocker! Bad idea! Chilli flew about 1 1/2 meters through the air, landing straight onto his hip. And it was off to see our veterinarian Karin Stormoe at Bjerke Animal Hospital bright and early the very next day. Diagnosis: Crack in the neck of the femur as a result of an uncontrolled fall. As a result, he was forced to sit in a crate for six weeks while his leg healed. Three months later, his leg was as good as new, and I made an attempt at showing him at the Pomeranian Specialty in Sweden and became Best in Show! Since then, he's become a Norwegian Champion (within 2 months of his first show), Danish Champion, Swedish Champion, Finnish and Nordic Champion, Nordic Winner 2005, as well as earned himself BIS 4 and BIS 5 placements in Swedish Pomeranian Specialty Shows (main shows) and another BIS in the Swedish Pomeranian Specialty in September 2005 and AGAIN in September 2006!!
Status: Retired from the show circuit and from stud
